Ethio130 Lucky slot is a gamification campaign conducted in alignment with 130 years of service with resilience to award Ethio telecom customers with attractive instant and grand prizes while using products and services rendered by Ethio Telecom.
1. Introduction
Welcome to the Ethio130 Lucky slot promotional campaign. By participating in the campaign, you agree to these terms and conditions:
• Ethio130 Lucky Slot is a top up and telebirr transaction-based program which offers various attractive prizes that range from mobile package to Electric Car.
• You can play Ethio130 Lucky Slot through web portal and telebirr mini app.
• To subscribe visit the portal https://ethiotel130-megapromo.et/, with in telebirr supper app (130 Gaming: Ethio 130 Lucky slot) or send “OK” to 131.
• Ethio130 lucky slot campaign was running for nine months starting from September 22, 2024, to June 21, 2025 – the programme will continue for 2 more months, until August 21, 2025.
2. Game Logic
2.1 Coins
• The game provides Silver and Gold coins to classify Freemium users and Premium users.
• Silver coin allows Freemium users to play in the Silver slot machine.
• Gold coin allows Premium users to play in the Gold slot machine.
• You will be provided with silver or gold coins for airtime Top-up.
• For every 10 Birr airtime top-up there will be a default 1 coin + 1 weekly draw Ticket award for you to engage and play in the game channels. For example, if you recharge 30 Birr airtime you are going to receive 3 coins + 3 weekly draw tickets.
• If Silver user recharges >=10 Birr and <50 Birr airtime via telebirr, additional 2 Silver Coins + 2 Weekly tickets will be provided.
• If Silver user recharges airtime via telebirr with a value of 50 Birr and more, an additional 2 Gold Coins + 2 weekly tickets will be provided.
• 3 Gold coins will be issued during subscription of the service or every-day during the subscription renewal is made which will allowing you to play memory game to be eligible for various grand prizes.
• All coins will expire within 7 days of being earned unless you play in the slot machines.

2.2 Slots
• The portal features two slots, one Silver and one Gold;
• To access the Gold slot, you need to subscribe for the service to become a Premium player;
• All premium users can play both the silver and gold slots;
• All users (Freemium and premium) will be charged 1-coin every time you play on the Slot machines regardless of the channel you use.
2.3 Tickets
• The game has two types of tickets, a weekly draw ticket and Premium ticket.
2.3.1 Weekly Draws Ticket

2.3.2 Gold Ticket

2.4 Memory Game
• This game is a skill-based game that awards tickets based on your performance on matching the hidden cards/images;
• The game can only be accessed after playing in the Gold Slot;

5. Eligibility for Ethio130 Lucky Slot
5.1. Eligible Participants

5.2. Non-eligible Participants
- Employees of Ethio telecom and associated partners;
6. Accounts
6.1. Once you have accessed and signed-in Ethio130 lucky slot service website https://ethiotel130-megapromo.et/ or send “OK” SMS to 130 with your phone, the Ethio130 lucky slot system will automatically register an account with your phone number as a unique account ID. Service will consider that you agreed and you will be solely responsible for all activities that occur under your phone number.

9.3. This T&C shall remain in full force and effective during the Ethio telecom promotion period until August 2025 (not taking into account temporary suspensions of the offer for operational reasons, e.g. for repairs, planned maintenance, or upgrades).
10. Modifications and Termination
10.1. Ethio Telecom reserves the right to modify or terminate the service and its terms without prior notice, subject to applicable laws.
10.2. By continuing to access or use our service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the service
11. Participants of the Promotion
11.1. Ethio telecom reserves the right to disqualify any participant who appears to have breached any provision of the Terms and Conditions.
11.2. Customers participating in the promotion hereby warrant that all information submitted is true, current, and complete.
12. Terms of the Prizes
12.1. Cash (e-money), Mobile phone, Bajaj, BYD EV Car and Volkswagem ID.4 winners will be contacted by Ethio telecom or Provider representatives via phone call to their mobile number used to participate in the promotion.
12.2. Daily and weekly e-money prizes will be sent via telebirr within 10 days of winning.
12.3. Non-cash (non e-money) prizes are delivered within 20 days, and Ethio130 lucky slot advisors will contact winners.
12.4. Any unclaimed prizes will expire after 30 days and will be given to the second-place users who have not yet received a prize.
12.5. If a winner is found to have won multiple grand prizes (Bajaj, EV Car and Volkswagen ID.4) using a single mobile number, the prize will be awarded to the second-place participants who have not yet received any grand prize.
12.6. All winners must provide identification documents in order to receive the prize. Prizes may be received by a representative of the winner by proxy upon written confirmation from the winner. The following documents shall be accepted for identification: ID card or VALID Passport.
12.7. Mobile package and related instant prizes will be redeemed immediately.
12.8. The winners of Cars and Bajaj prize will be responsible for the name change and related process fees associated with claiming and registering the electric vehicle (EV Car), Bajaj and Car Volkswagen ID.4. The winner must cover these expenses once Ethio telecom has confirmed that they have been awarded the prize.
12.9. By participating in the promotion, winners agree that any of their data, including names, surnames, initials, photos, and video images, can be used by Ethio telecom for advertising purposes with no prior consent and free of charge.
12.10. Ethio telecom and the Organizers have the right to ban any user that conducts inappropriate behavior towards the service, including but not limited to influencing the results of the service that may affect other players.
13. Limitation of Liability
13.1. Ethio telecom accepts no responsibility whatsoever for, including without limitation, any error, omission, interruption, defect, delay in operation or transmission, or communications line failure when it is not under its direct control and execution.
13.2. Ethio telecom reserves the right to whenever it is deemed necessary to temporarily suspend the promotion for operational reasons (e.g. for repairs, planned maintenance, or upgrades). Ethio telecom promises to restore the promotion as soon as possible after any temporary suspension period.
14. Disclaimer of Warranties
14.1. Participants understand and agree that they participate in this promotion at their own risk and willingness and have not been coerced in any manner to participate.
14.2. Ethio telecom makes no warranty, implied or express, that any part of the promotion will be uninterrupted and error-free.
14.3. Ethio telecom is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software failure of any email or entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet, telephone lines or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer or mobile telephone related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in the promotion.
14.4. By entering the promotion, participants agree that no claim relating to such losses or injuries (including special, indirect, and consequential losses) shall be asserted against Ethio telecom, its parent companies, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, or agents from any losses, damages, rights, claims, and actions of any kind resulting from acceptance or usage of any prize, including without limitation, personal injuries, death, and property damage.
15. Governing Law
In case any disagreement arises, participants can present their complaint to Ethio telecom and the issue will be decided by the laws of FDRE.
